Golden Dragon ASTAR Buses Usher in a Brand New Era of Public Transportation in Shaoxing

On April 23, a batch of Golden Dragon ASTAR mini-buses officially started operation on mini-bus route No.0002 and No.0003 in Shaoxing. By taking full advantage of the big data and internet technologies, ASTAR mini-buses provide transportation services based on passengers’ demands.

Achieving high agility and generating less noise, Golden Dragon ASTAR mini-bus is fully powered by electricity. Though small in size, it is extremely eye-catching and particularly friendly to the elderly and children.

During their trial operation, the average daily number of orders reached 700 and the average daily passenger flow hit 550. So far, Golden Dragon ASTAR mini-buses have received over 25,000 orders and provided transportation services for over 20,000 passengers.

As passenger flow changes constantly, the bus operator thus decreases or increases the number of ASTAR mini-buses on the roads and provides demand-oriented short-distance transportation services.
